Burundi COC certification

This new assessment program is for all goods exported to Burundi under the catalog, and aims to ensure that products exported to Burundi meet the corresponding Burundian standards and international standards. The primary goals of the program are:

1 Ensure that products comply with technical regulations and mandatory standards applicable to Burundi (or their equivalents)

2 Ensure that Burundian consumers meet the requirements of product quality, hygiene and safety, environmental protection, etc.

3 Prevent substandard and counterfeit goods from entering Burundi

4 Promote trade and commerce, and implement corresponding conformity assessment procedures in accordance with Article 5 of the Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT/WTO)

Documents required for applying for Burundi COC customs clearance certificate:

1. Packing List

2. Proforma Invoice

3. Product test report: If there is already a test report, there is no need to repeat the test, except for sampling tests.

4.COC application form: Blank application form is provided by the handling agency

Burundi COC certification process:

1 Submit application materials

2 Authorized issuing agency to review materials

3 Approval of inspection and notification of applicants

6 Issue a draft certificate

7 Issue PVOC-COC customs clearance certificate

If the inspection fails, no draft will be issued, and the certificate cannot be issued.
